Clàudia Serra-Salala

Clàudia started her PhD in 2019 and works on redistribution, taxation, and the link with the energy transition. In her job market paper, she demonstrates how find farm developments affect local public finances. She shows that new installations increase revenues per capita by 30 percent, which is mainly used to finance real investments and current expenditure. Besides that, she worked on the redistributive effects of tax decentralization and preferences for redistribution. Clàudia will defend her thesis in 2024

Darío Serrano-Puente

Darío joined the UB School of Economics and works on behavioral responses to government policies, such as taxation and minimum income programs. He currently analyses how entrepreneurs react to incentives given by the personal income tax to incorporate. He is expected to finish his PhD in 2025

Sofia Balladares

Sofia will start her PhD at the UB School of Economics in Fall 2023.
